CENDOL PAK AKOB

Cendol is one of my all time favourite dessert. My top of the kist would be Cendol Kelang (of course located in Kelang) but Cendol Pak Akob is not bad either. It's very popular especially in the Shah Alam foodie scene. I did noticed that lately they expanded the business to cater for wedding ceremonies. I've sence few. The above is from a wedding of our friend's (Azhana amd Firdaus)  sister in Pekan Meru and you can see the Pak Akob Cendol's van is there to serve the delicious cendol.

I'm not Yuna or Najwa Latif or even other Youtube Celebrities but I do exist in the youtube video. Hmmm this is a semifinal game of Rugby between Sabah and ASAS RC (my school Alumni team) if I'm not mistaken it's in 2009. I was there to give my support. Middle of the game something happen due to some weak judgement by the referee.

The game was halted , the players run amok even attacking the referee. You can see me in the video betwwen 1:30 to 1:40 , a small guy (when compared to the Fijian player) wearing blue shirt and blue cap trying to settle down the players. Sabah was decalred winner and some ASAS player was penalized ( I remember Mat Arip was banned for life by MRU). What a day ....

PAWN STAR : MY FAVOURITE SHOW

This show is really cool. It's on History Channel or if you do not have cable TV you can always watch it in YOUTUBE. I still remember going to Pawn Shop in Saskatoon Downtown in the 90s to buy my first leather Jacket....and at that time I always associated pawn shop with bad guys and stolen items. This show do change my perpsective towards such businesses.

And this show also started another show called Kings of Restoration. Another show that is alos really cool.

EDEN HAZARD : JOINS ROMAN'S ARMY :)

Eden Hazard (French pronunciation): born 7 January 1991) is a Belgian international footballer who currently plays for English club Chelsea in the Premier League and the Belgium national team. He primarily plays as an attacking midfielder and a winger. Hazard is known for his creativity, speed, and technical ability and is described as a "fearless, explosive attacking midfielder who can change the game with a turn of pace or a dribble". He has also been described as "a defender's nightmare" and has earned critical acclaim for his playing style, which has led to the media, coaches, and players drawing comparisons to FIFA World Player of the Year winners Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The above is from WIKI and it says it all. No wonder dozens of mega football club wanted to have this guy in the team. Any player that is a comparison to CR and Messi must be very good. Hazard from my point of view will manned the midfield engine with Juan Matta and Frankie L. Looking forward to the next season and hoping for a good season again for the European Club King.

BURGER BESAR @ SEKSYEN 7 SHAH ALAM

I've wrote about burger bakar a while back and I've tried it at Bukit Kapar. The latest trend in the domestic burger scene is BIG BURGER ....seriously am talking about a burger weighing at 1 kg ( you can request for a bigger version ).

The location is at section 7 Shah Alam , the same location with Nasi Arab seksyen 7. Planning to go for a food hunt with my family in a very near future :)

GOING TO PTA/PIBG MEETING

PTA or PIBG is a very important element in ensuring the effective running of a school. It's the same for a plublic school or religious school. So selecting the people to sit in the committee is eqaully important. That's why selection meeting is vital and those who are selected must have a good quality to ensure success. Just sharing some phots during the PTA meeting for my kids SRA in Bukit Kapar.

Since my Sekolah Alam Shah moved to Putrajaya few years back , I've made quiet a few trips to this place especially things related to Alumni. I've lots of friend working in the government sectors located in Putrajaya.

It's also a good place to take your family for a quick getaway and that's what I did. Just sharing some of the photos.

FACEBOOK : BEWARE OF ADDICTION

I've to admit during the early stages of my Facebooking activities ..I'm totally addicted to it and it seems to have an impact to my daily live ...in a BAD way actually. Alhamdulillah after several trial an error I manage to limit the usage and currently can declare myself to be cured from the addiction. Still Facebook is good in terms of getting connected but better self management needed to ensure it's not going to be out of control ....

MIAMI HEAT THE NBA CHAMPIONS 2012

When Le Bron James made the 'DECISION' last year teaming up with Wade and Bosh they have one objective ...to win NBA championship. last year probably a very near miss losing out to Big Dirk and the Mavericks but once King James decided to be more of a team player rather than individual everything changes.

Congrats to Miami Heat and looking ofrward to retaining the title for next year and many years to come. Probably if they can get Steve Nash and a true Center (Chris Kaman please) ..it will be much better ...:)

FISH SPA ....(GELIIIIII)

I've seen this in TV and read about this in the magazine but never tried it until now. Decided to bring the kids for an LRT ride to KL (from AMCORP MALL). We stopped at Central Market and while browsing around the place we found ourselves at a FISH SPA shop and I was asked by my kids "Ayah berani tak nak cuba ????".

Hmmmm it's a fair challenge so I've decided to give it a go ....A bit geliiiii for the first 30 seconds but after that it's not really bad. The session cost RM 5 for 10 minutes. Not bad at all.
