RUBBER POOL FOR MY KIDS

There will be some space between the extended kitchen and the small house. Initially my plan was to only focus on having an edible garden but looking at some extra space that I will have , probably I will also have one area to add rubber pool just for the kids to have a short cool break. Since to have a real pool is not monetary logical , this will be a very affordable option ...

SNUG

I discover this while watching tv programs from UK , SNUG is  a small private room within a public house, once common in pubs across Great Britain and Ireland. Not common in Malaysia but something cool to try out.

BEDROOM MAKEOVER : Overfill your throw pillows

There's something so luxurious about plush, overfilled throw pillows, which go a long way in transforming your bedroom from "everyday" to a bonafide retreat that emulates the most sumptuous of hotels.

CONSTRUCTION IS A GO ....

I was on leave for a few days to finalize the above. The materials was delivered on time a day before the CNY break. The workers has started the initial process and probably looking at 1-2 weeks to complete the kitchen extension and also the exterior cement flooring.

DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR TOWEL

1. You double-up when hanging them on hooks.Using hooks to hang-dry towels between uses isn't that bad (though using a towel bar is better), but you should never hang more than one per hook. Moisture and debris could get trapped among the layers, which growing bacteria and mold just love.
2. You don't wash them often enough.Towels start to get dingy, stinky, and germy rather quickly; you should launder them after every third use.
And your bathroom's hand towels should be changed and cleaned even more often. "They get dirtiest faster since you use them more than once per day," says Carolyn Forte, Director of the Cleaning Lab at the Good Housekeeping Institute. "Change them every couple days, or even every day, if you have a big family."
3. You use the same towels too often.A diligent laundry schedule doesn't mean you can get away with one towel per person. "It's good to have several sets, maybe four, that you rotate," says Forte. "This way, each set is only used about every other week. Less use and less washing means towels will last longer."
4. You use too much detergent when you wash them.It can be tempting to pour a little extra into the washer when you want to get something really, really clean. But this tactic is futile, as the package's recommendation is really all you need. Plus, as towels are meant to be absorbent, they tend to cling to excess suds. If not rinsed thoroughly, leftover detergent can actually feed bacteria and mold. "It can also leave towels stiff, rough, and scratchy," says Forte. If you notice residue or extra stiffness out of the wash, dial the detergent back.
5. You don't wash them in hot enough water.Check the care tag and wash towels in the hottest water safe for the fabric to really get them clean and kill germs.

MARSALA : 2015 OFFICIAL COLOR

I'm not sure why the above was selected as the color to go for this 2015 (you have to asked PANTONE for the answer). Personally the color is probably a combination of few other colors and for me it's a bit classical without any ZENness to it. In a decor of modern classic it's probably suitable. Anyway I've some examples of the color which if rightly used should create a very nice tone to your house decor.

EDIBLE GARDEN DESIGN

I'm planning my own edible garden. The space will not be a big one ,  probably around 10 feet by 5 feet. Mostly will be using container and looking at around 15 to 20 containers when completed.
Not sure about the design but really feeling WOW looking at the above ideas ...

CREATIVITY IN YOUR BATHROOM

Hmmmm, being creative is not a problem but in your bathroom. Gone were the days where your bathroom is gloomy, boring and one direction. Nowadays is cool to add some creativity into it. My bathrooms are BORING at this point of moment, but will add some creative influence into it.
