KITCHEN EXTENSION PROJECT (DIAGRAM)

This is the design up to this moment. The kitchen no 2 will be also have its own storage room (similar to Chef Michael Smith food storage in 'Chef at Home' cooking show). Also the space that we will have between the main house and connection to bathroom 2 will be used as simple lepak/makan area, i'll figure out how to hide the bathroom door later.

Kitchen Island (A cool thing to have in a kitchen)

One item that could be very useful in my kitchen no 2 will be a kitchen island. Am not planning for a big and expensive one , probably small and portable. IKEA do have some of the desin that could fit my new kitchen and also my budget.

KLIPPAN 2 SEATER SOFA

One of my all time favourite IKEA product (although so far I've never owned one). The kitchen extension project will free up some space at the family area. I'm planning to add 2 of this sofa(s) to increase the area of the family area. I'll be sharing the drawing later.
Installation and transportation will add up the cost to about RM 1350. I know that I can get a good set of sofa at the furniture shop but KLIPPAN is a very good IKEA product  and has been around for 30 years. The design is so cool plus am going for the stylish green colour ...:)

MY EXTENSION PROJECT (THE DRAWING)

This will be phase 1 of the 2015 House Makeover Project. This rough drawing (using the humble powerpoint je) show the plan to connect the 2 building into 1. My plan at this point of time is to start this project mid of February 2015.

2015 ( A NEW YEAR AND A VERY CHALLENGING ONE INDEED)

Alhamdulillah, we've ended the 2014 (with a mixture of emotions), and here comes 2015. Everybody of us will be one year older , myself will be a big nice 42 and same goes with mdm rawiwa (the wife).

A big question on how do we cope with the coming GST(s) ?? Hoping for the best , although we can expect the living cost will be getting higher and higher.

2015 will be my house renovation year. I've some very interesting project to be implemented this 2015 and will be using this humble blog to update the progress ....
