STENSTORP (Kitchen Island from IKEA)

If probably one day I'm deciding to have a kitchen island STENSTORP could be in the list of option. Price wise a little bit on the higher side RM1550 but to have a contractor custom made for you will be more expensive. Will decide when the time comes.

OUR NEW FAMILY AREA (THE SKETCH)

Currently the area serve 2 purpose as a 'makan' area and also as a TV area. Once the new extension project completed, our plan is to focus this area only for TV area or family area. The plan is to add 2 KLIPPAN sofa to this 300 square feet area. Also probably need a bigger carpet.

LCD TV (WALL BRACKET)

 

Having your LCD TV on the wall is the actual way to do it. It's still ok if your LCD TV is on your TV cabinet but the earlier option is much better.

There are few types of wall bracket with various sizes for you to choose from and looking at the video demo like the above i think i could do it with no problem.

Our current LCD TV is not wall mounted but I'm going to have it on the wall very soon. I'm upgrading my TV area and puting my LCD TV on the wall is part of the plan.

WALL SHELVES ( ADDING TEXTURE TO YOUR HOME DECOR)

I've to admit I never installed any of the above. My wife did buy me a set of BOSCH tools last year and I'm planning to finally installed one myself.

GIVING SOME ART TO YOUR FRIDGE (COOL STUFF)

It's a trend nowadays to use sticker as fridge decoration. I've seen one in my friend house some where in Sri Gombak. Planning to do the same to my old fridge.

NEW KITCHEN (ROUGH SKETCH)

The new kitchen will be an L shape design considering the amount of space that will be constructed. Just basic 2 burner stove and stainless steel sink to complete the installation. The portable kitchen island (probably from IKEA) will be inserted later.

Overall my plan is to make is straight forward, clean and spacious.

FOLK ART (WHAT A GREAT WAY TO SPICE UP MY HOME DECOR)

Folk Art can be considered the art of normal people, direct without any extreme level of creativity imagination. I've seen this style of decor being mentioned in many home decor magazines. I'm planning to add few of this in my kitchen 2 and probably some in kitchen 1. There are few good home decor store in Shah Alam that focusing on this.
