THANK YOU TEACHER

From Kindergarten to University nobody can deny the importance of a teacher. Always there and ready to teach new knowledge to us. I still remember my Discipline Teacher back in secondary school by the name of Mr Abdul Rahman bin Atin aka ARBA. The most feared teacher in the school. Just by looking at his face your sweet dreams will turn to nightmares. But until now, 20 years later, whenever I want to do something which is undisciplined , I will always remember Cikgu ARBA.

Being a teacher myself, it is a responsibility to teach my beloved students with love even during some cloudy moments of myself. And to see this students becoming a better person and successful in their career is something that even money can't buy. So to all teachers out there ....

BLOG HOPPING

I just started the above activity after realizing that it's a cool way of jumping from one blog to another blog randomly. It's a facility provided by blogger.com and it helps me to connect to blogs from around the world.

This activity will give me the opportunity to get blogging friends from all over the world and so far I've added my comments to 3 blogs that I've come across during the blog hopping exercise last week and still waiting for the blog owners to reply. Hopefully the reply will come very soon.

PASAR MALAM @ CAMERON HIGHLAND

Pasar Malam or Night Market has been always fun and interesting. I've met one tourist from Europe and according to her the best place to get the local feel at one go will be Pasar Malam and I'm totally agree with her on that.

But going to this Pasar Malam in Berinchang, Cameron Highland add a little bit of twist. Yes it's like a normal night market where you will find almost everything especially foods but in Berinchang please add another item that is the temperature. I'm not saying that it's very cold as in minus degree but at least it's cooler than most of the places in Malaysia. And the vegetables are very fresh.

BOOKAHOLICS .....

I'm addicted to books. Especially used boos with a very good pricing. My favourite used book stores will definitely be PAYLESS BOOKSHOP. And the trick is to go for their REAL warehouse sale. It's because it's done at their warehouse (without air condition ...).

The catch is tons of books costing between RM1 and RM2. And with a budget of RM 200 ..you can comeback with 100 books plus a big smile.

Looking forward to the next warehouse sale.

MLB IS BACK !!!!!

Yes, it's time to PLAY BALL !!!! and this time around I'll be supporting the YANKEES. And on top of they will be playing in the New Stadium they will also will be lining up one of the best group of player (offense and defense) ever.

The addition if CC Sabathia, AJ Burnett and Mark Texiera will definitely boost up the performance of the team (it show in Spring Training ...). The 2 new pitchers plus Petitte and Chen plus Joba will ensure good pitching force while Tex will ensure good numbers of HR and hitting.

Looking forward for the first game in few days time.

Before this when looking at the above date the only thing that will happen (that I know of) is MY BIRTHDAY and my mum's birthday (yupp we're born them same day and month).

But this year things change as people all around the world is talking about the date. It's EARTH HOUR and people will be disconnecting themselves from civilization for ONE HOUR. I personally never done that before and really looking forward to do so.

So let's do it by switching OFF (from electric sources ...) and indeed we're showing support to mother earth. And not to forget HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME .

TROPICAL FRUITS NEAR PUNCAK ALAM

The fruit stall and 'wakaf'

Enjoying the durians and fresh coconut juice under the 'wakaf'

The best place (at least for me) to enjoy tropical fruits will be Bukit Cherakah Fruits Station, located not far from Puncak Alam, Selangor. What is really nice about this place is the location which situated in an orchard owned by Felda (a government body that deals with agriculture).

That guarantees the freshness of the fruits plus it gives this cool surrounding that you normally have in a fruits orchard.

The other thing worth mentioned about this establishment is the small “wakaf” or covered area provided for customers to enjoy the fruits on the spot. So one can buy for example DURIAN from the fruits stall and bring it to the 'wakaf' to enjoy the freshness of the fruits.

One of the 'must visit place' whenever friends comes to my house.
