My last trip to Melaka (not related to work) was ages ago, which is why I’ve decided to bring my family to Melaka. To add the trill of this trip we’ve decided to take a bus instead of driving.
The trip from Klang Central to Melaka Central took about 2.5 hours. We’ve stayed in Hotel Puri, a 3 star hotel with 4 star facilities and 5 star breakfast !!!. It’s an old peranakan building converted to a hotel and it’s just a walking distance from all the historical places including Jonker Walk.
We’ve tried almost everything …the taming sari rotating tower, rooftop bus ride, river boat cruise, beca ride and shopping at jonker street. And we manage to complete all of in the first night.
Our last day was to visit the museum and interestingly we’ve got 5 in 1 museum that is 5 museum with only 1 entry fee. This is one of the trip that I really planned carefully utilizing the internet and it really helps.
Looking forward to the next trip….Pulau Pangkor (and yes by bus ….)

akak pun baru balik dari Melaka last week..dah banyak berubah . tapi kami pergi berdua saja but dah plan untuk kesana lagi August ni..kena naik kereta laa pasal anak ramai...nanti ada yang tercicir nanti...mesti try semua yang kamu tulis ni..masa pergi hari tu malas nak cuba semua sebab anak tak da..
..ini yg gua jeles nih.. tunggu anak gua besar sikit ajer BB.. tis year b'day nak bagi hadiah 'bagpack' 60 ltr kat wife..hehehe.. journey hang mmg adorable
I have seen a lot of items about Melaka in blogs and in the MSM. Sure seems a dynamic place with lots of attractions for the visitor. Got to include it in any trip to Malaysia.

Am a bit surprise that you never been to Melaka ..hmmm. It's the capital of historical places of Malaysia ..a place that you'll travel back to the old Malaya (before it's change to Malaysia). Make sure it's in your list ...better still I'll join you the next time you visit Malaysia.

Pegi melaka backpacking je ..penat tapi best. Hotel Puri memang highly recommended ...it's cheap and dekat dengan jonker street and other interesting places ...cuma i've to booked it 2 months earlier ...

Wow! Jalan-jalan Melaka nampak..awat x roje..kalau idak boleh hamba bawa tuan pergi ke tempat-tempat yang lebih "mengancam"..
Setiap hujung minggu di Melaka..dan tak tahu nak tulih apa pasal melaka..

I did visit Melaka once, but it was a very short stopover a very long time ago. At the time very little seemed to be done to help the visitor be aware of the remarkable history and to facilitate and enhance the enjoyment of Melaka's charms.
