This is a view from my SURAU. The odd looking machine with antenna is not to be used to hunt UFOs but it's built as a flood alert system for my kampung. It can detect the level of water especially during monsun season (like the one that we're experiencing now) and will create a loud alarming sound if the water level is reaching the danger zone.
KL was hit by flash flood yesterday and it's good to have more of this alarm system just to alert people so that they will have enough time to react. Majority of city folks are blaming the SMART tunnel of not being very smart and personally I do not blame them for that. We definitely need a better system.
