Muhd Rahimi is my one and only son (so far ...heehe) and 2014 is his 14th year living in this beautiful world. Hoping that he'll be the best son to me and his mum , also the best brother to his 2 younger sisters.
As a father , I've to admit I can be a little bit harsh to him especially when giving advise but it is for his benefits. I'm not a dad that like to show affection towards my kids (god knows I love them ultra much) but AYAH IS PROUD OF YOU ABANG IMI .

I did mentioned in some earlier posting about the plan to buy something to act as my house fencing. The actual fence will require much effort of monetary which I do not have so the next best thing is buying probably small palm trees to be the fencing tree.
After some planning and rigurous budgeting I finally have a winner and it is the King Palm tree. I bought 6 of them together with the nice teracotta pots (I really went over budget for the pots ..adoiii). Anyway the above is the result.

It's a must have for a 'manly' MAN like me ...hehehehehehe. My mancave is mainly used for reading as it's my small library. Also used as my hideout or my peace finding space.
The BBQ pit (not really a pit actually) was supposed to be used for BBQing , but lately it's staying ideal due to not many BBQ activities ...
Love both of them ...

haji sukaiman (he was the former state director for BSN)
This is my first time joining the monthly event. The best opportunity to tag along super seniors from Sekolah Alam Shah. All the tan sri(s) and datuk(s) are there , to make my life easy I just greet them as abang or uncle.
Was there to promote OBW (Old Boys Weekend) 2015 organized by my batch. Really surprised when told that quite a number of SASSIANS are from Meru, one of them is Haji Sukaiman , he contested for BN in PRU13 (DUN Meru) but lost to Dr Rani.
I might be looking to put this event as a must go event ...we'll see

Masjid at my house
I've started my career in this building way back in 1997
During my study in UUM this is the best Pasar Malam ever
My parent house (check out the fresh and green pokok2)
Right after our wedding my and www.rawiwa.blogspot.com rented this house (in bandar baru sg buloh)
In 1995 , I was selected to join an exchange program for 3 months and was sent to Saskatoon, Canada. This is where we stayed 20 years ago ...
We used to browse the google map and see satellite images (mostly rooftop picture) , which is cool. But now the G map has gone a bit far which is super cool by having street view. I can't explained the coolness , you've to try it yourself. It's like driving a car to almost any place in the world without having to drive a car !!! super duper cool
p/s : I'm still in street view fever :)

We're fortunate enough to live not far from Setia City Mall. One of the best feature of SCM is the public park, like central park in NY or KLCC park in KL. The facility provides people in Setia Alam and their neighbouring friends to enjoy quality family time in the park.
You can either bring the kids to the playground or just have a simple family picnic on the field , relaxing yourself with simple kuih or sandwiches with hot teh tarik while enjoying the moment. And the best of the best part is ....IT"S FREE ...:)

The whole family was busy with the above occasion last weekend. We're having 'aqiqah' at my in-law house. As usual any event with 'Jawa' culture in it will be massive and this one is included. Good to have almost everybody helping and although we had a heavy thunder storm late that afternoon the program went very well.

My last posting was about the plan to have 'pokok pagar' as the alternative
to the actual fence. Some how or rather I suddenly have a soft spot for orchid. My wife has been talking about having her own orchid garden (my mum in law have a few) and probably instead of having few fenced plant maybe having orchid garden in a really nice gazebo should be better .
I'm seriously putting this option into my consideration list.

I wish I could have a simple fences for my house but I do not want to be really different from my neighbours. Most of the house in Jalan Rebung is without fences. So the other logic option that I have is to create natural fences using plants. Here are the options :
Looking at probably October this year to make this happen .

My Lenovo a880 was stolen just before Ramadhan (in the musolla !!!). The immediate replacement was the Lenovo a267i (very cheap) but am having difficult time trying to get connected. This week my brother gave me his old Blackberry since he's no using ASUS and after some fine tuning here and there I'm connected. As a first timer, BB is not bad at all. Ok, this model do not have any touch screen facilities but apart from that the rest is really cool ....

Azhar Omar aka Atok and family visited us during the first week of Syawal. He's on his way to Kapar visiting an old colleague. Recently promoted to AGM at Telekom Malaysia (handling TM Union related issues). He's also moving to a new house in Bangi probably end of this year. 2014 has been a very good year for him .

It's a cheaper version of the actual wall paper , we bought it cheap RM 50 per roll at GM Klang (4 rolls). This is our second attempt of doing it DIY style and like the first one it looks very easy but IT IS NOT ...
I've to admit the additions of wall paper to change the whole looks of this area. It's used to be our dining area and we've decided redo it into guest area no 2. Not bad for only our 2nd attempt ...

Zeck is moving to a new house end of this year and yesterday I have the opportunity to join him visiting the newly completed project. It's a semi-d unit located at precinct 11 with a good built up (landed space is a bit small compare to his previous house). Neighbourhood is a mix and match between the Thyme owners and the gov servants (looking at the house I guess senior officials). And of course no gate (it's normal in Putrajaya). Not bad for a RM 1.2 M house....:)

For this hari raya celebration we've decided to re arrange the house inner decorations and we now have living hall 1 and living hall 2 ( used to be the old dining area). The bigger living hall still remains the same except for the additions of a big decoration mirror and some decoration pillows just to add some colors. And also some artificial flowers here and there.
